Strange how you can change your mind & realize you probably didn't really make your last decision anyway.
I just assumed I wanted to go to the Halloween Dance. But, I've been sick all weekend and barely was well enough for classes today.
I got home at one in the mindset that I'd go try on my 60s mod costume that I'd purchased expressly for the dance (since my Halloween plans include work, then taking pictures for TOTs but spending a good portion of the night & next morning at the Valencia's). Upon donning the dress & boots, I had a little epiphany where I realized I'm still not feeling my best, and spending the evening relaxing in the house sounds a lot more enticing than the Halloween Dance.
I understand I'm supposedly missing out, and if the dance was next weekend rather than today I'd probably go. But I just don't feel up to it. And I'm really quite okay with it.
I got some BK with my brother and am spending the rest of the evening on laundry, research for my APUSH debate, and some Hey Arnold and/or Friends episodes. All in the comfiest clothes, I must add.
I'm having a really nice evening, too. Driving home from BK I really got to look at the Swang in all it's autumn best, and it put me in a serene mood. Now all I need is for the APUSH debate to be over, and for it to be Saturday so I can see my collegiate friends again..
Hey, I'm a collegiate friend. I'm excited to see youuu!
